Mother Anna's Restaurant is proud to be known as the oldest
family restaurant in the North End of Boston.
Six generations of the Travaglione/Caparella family
has carried on this fine tradition. Mother Anna started the restaurant over 70 years ago, and now her great-grandchildren
continue her style of cooking that has made her a landmark in the North End.
Back when there was only a handful of restauants in the North
End, Mother Anna's was a favorite dining spot for a Senator named John F. Kennedy. Even today, her "veal
scallopini marsala" is one of the most popular dishes on the menu.
Located at the corner of Hanover and Cross
Street, Mother Anna's is at the gateway to the North End, with one of the most beautiful views in the entire
city.
Our family would like to thank our many regular customers
for making Mother Anna's the success it has become for over six generations.
